I investigated WTB after hearing an, as yet untitled, piece on BBC3’s J to Z. I was instantly taken with it and reminded of the music of National Health. It’s a wonderful album. I listen through ear buds, via Bluetooth speaker and put through the AVR to fill a room. All are immersive, while different.

I would tell Matt what I think about the album if I could download it and listen to it! I have prepaid the album and been advised by both Edition and Bandcamp that the album is now out - but….? Any advice please….? Later….. Techy problems now sorted - a lovely lyrical album - a new musical genre? - folk jazz - if that doesn’t sound offensive?! Great stuff. Murdo

A beautiful phrasing, a very nuanced and distinctive play with a very pleasant personal sound . Both perfect musically and technically. Simply a worthy successor to tenor saxophonists as deeply regretted Michael Brecker. Highly recommended !
